Hi, I’m Jade.

I'm an autistic ADHDer, single mum, and Australian-based creator who spent most of her adult life thinking she was just a bit too much. Too sensitive. Too scattered. Too intense. Too inconsistent.

Turns out, I just had an undiagnosed brain.

I received my late diagnosis of autism and ADHD in my late thirties, and it changed everything. Not because it fixed me, but because it explained everything. Years of fighting myself, years of systems that never stuck, years of being told I was smart but not quite living up to it, finally had a name. And a reason. And a path forward that wasn't built on shame.

I've been through a lot. Neurosurgery. Chronic illness. Divorce. The particular chaos of building a life while your nervous system is constantly in the wrong gear. I wrote a book about it, Making Lemonade, because I figured if it helped even one person feel less alone in all of that, it was worth the vulnerability hangover.

What I kept coming back to, through all of it, was how much easier things got once I understood how my brain actually worked. Not how it was supposed to work.
